the unexpected

Last Aug 9, 2008 me and other divers from Toucan dive chartered a boat to do some wreck diving in the "straight of makinaw" in Lake Michigan in Chicago. On my second dive while descending for some reason I lost my dive camera and I never found it after searching.  I was sad and then I just let it go.

a phone call yesterday delivered a good news! I was shouting for joy! another diver a week later found my camera buried under the sand and particles. This morning I picked it up from the good samaritan diver, her name is Cathy. Thank you! the camera is perfect condition. Underwater housing really worked!

here are some of the pictures from the camera.

the chartered boat, good thing I took this because Cathy was able to track me down!

"photoshopped"

Although I don't have any Photoshop Elements software, I used the effects available in iphoto '08 to create these effects, mostly sephia, vignette and edge blur. These pictures were taken in the Philippines last June.
